Introduction to the EL Education K-5 Language Arts Curriculum

Participants will work through a series of session to prepare them to use the EL curriculum. Module, Units and lesson will be the focus of the learning along with protocols and practices for student engagement. The session will take 3-4 hours to complete.

Partnicpants will be able to describe the structures and key features of the EL Education K-5 Language Arts Curriculum 1. Participants will be able to locate specific components of the curriculum and key curricular documents in print or on the curriculum.eleducation.org website. 3. Participants will be able to explain how the curriculum meets the needs of all learners 4. Participants will be able to effectively communicate critical information about the curriculum to interested colleagues, families and community members.

Particpants will gain access to a customized EL Canvas site for this experience after enrolling.
